Why this project ?

This project was born from the need of having an manageable, customizable, extendible and high performance platform to execute services.

What do you mean by Service ?

A service is just a code that can be configurable that can be executed. To be more specific, a service is launched be an Inbound and can output anything to an outBound using Components and customizable by intercepters.

In other terms, Services are unassociated, loosely coupled units of functionality that have no calls to each other embedded in them. Each service implements one action, such as filling out an online application for an account, or viewing an online bank statement, or placing an online booking or airline ticket order. Rather than services embedding calls to each other in their source code, they use defined protocols that describe how services pass and parse messages using description metadata.

What's make it different from an EAI / ESB ?

These tools are far too heavy to use in these kinds of services. NwaySP is now running with thousands of Services at the same time with dozens of instances. They don't serve the same purpose. An ESB/EAI is more to handle integration whereas NwaySP is more to execute, manage and supervise executions.

How technical do you need to be to use NwaySP ?

NwaySP is designed for three levels of user:

  • The non technical but computer literate user can monitor jobs and manually intervene when necessary.
  • The technical user can easily create and deploy job configurations.
  • The programmer can extend NwaySP by writing their own services, or use NwaySP jobs in their own code.

Is it a bot ?

It depends how do you use it. NwaySP wasn't design to be a bot but across the whole history of evolution. We really don't recommend to use it for that purpose.

Does it produce spam ?

Yes, it depends how you use it. There is thin line between marketing content and spam. If you know what you are doing, then NO, this tools is used only for specific marketing purpose or automation ones.

Who is responsible for it ?

The clients that have contracted us are the only responsible for any damage caused by the services.
